Happy Father's Day Warren!

Warren is a super Daddy.  He brings calm to our crazy lives.  Upon returning from a four day work trip to NYC in April I was not sure what to expect.  When I walked through the door I was amazed to see a clean house and kids in bed.  Whether he's getting up early to feed Jules or getting up in the middle of the night with one of the kids, he's always trying to do whatever he can to give me a break.  These kids just adore their daddy.

And Happy Father's Day to our dads!  We love you!

The Big 5!

I can't believe that Conor is now 5 years old.  Rather than have a big party here, we thought it would be fun to have a smaller party at his Nana's house.  We had a great time spending the evening with family and friends.  Thank you to everyone that was able to be a part of the celebration!  I think Conor had the best birthday yet!  I know he was really excited that all his grandparents were able to be there with him.

Juliana turns 6 Months Old

Our sweet Baby Jules recently turned 6 months old.  She is such a joy!  She just smiles and observes everything going on around her.  She gets up on her hands and knees and rocks back and forth.  She can scoot around pretty quickly now, but is not yet officially crawling.  She began eating baby food last month - she loves her cereal and fruit...vegetables are not her favorite.  Jules is now very intrigued by the pugs...just last night when Newman walked by she took off scooting trying to catch him.  She even tries to steal his toys while she's on the floor playing.  Diaper changing time has turned into a wrestling match...how can a 16 pound baby be so strong?

Jules LOVES her big brother!  When Conor talks she listens and watches his every move.  Conor is such a great big brother. He takes such good care of her and always wants to be close to her.  It's super sweet how much he adores her.  This week he went to her 6 month doctor appointment with me.  When she was about to get her shots he said, "don't worry Baby Jules, I'll get you a sticker and a lolli-pop".

Graduation Day

It was a bittersweet day at Conor's school today.  I am very proud of him for all that he has accomplished this year but it is still sad to see him growing up so fast.  Today was graduation day complete with cap, gown and diploma.  I couldn't believe it when Conor actually walked up to the microphone and recited his pledge to the Bible.  Last year he wouldn't even get on stage!  During the reception afterwards they had a slideshow and he looked like such a baby at the beginning of the school year.  He isn't my little baby anymore.  Goodbye Preschool and on to Kindergarten!
