Happy Birthday Grandpa!

This weekend Conor celebrated Grandpa Pons' birthday. Grandma & Grandpa Pons came to visit and brought along some fun gifts. This adorable little football was an instant hit! Conor wanted to play catch with anyone who was willing to play. They also brought him this fabulous Cowboys jersey...now he's ready to watch the game with his daddy! Conor had fun showing off all of his new tricks to Grandma & Grandpa...they couldn't believe what a little boy he has become!

Happy Birthday Grandma!

This weekend Conor helped celebrate his Grandma Sano's birthday. He had a blast! Conor got to eat a chocolate cupcake and play with his cousin Max. Conor and Max are finally at a point where they can interact with each other more. It is hilarious! They are like two little people now...not babies. Unfortunately for Max, Conor is really obsessed with hugging right now...Max got more than his share of "Conor hugs" during this visit. This adorable little shirt is compliments of Grandma & Grandpa Sano.

"What is Love"

As we all know, Conor has always loved to dance.  It's really funny to watch his moves progress.  At first he was just bouncing while seated when music came on.  Then he went to being on all fours and rocking back and forth.  When he was able to stand up by himself, he started bending his knees and going up and down.  Well now he is ready to hit the club scene in his shiny rayon suit, Night at the Roxbury style.

(we will try and get a better, longer clip soon)

"Oh My!"

Conor won't tell us what was said but it looks like he was just delivered some shocking news!

Picky Picky

Conor has decided to start being a little picky when it comes to food. Some nights he will eat anything and others he is very selective. Luckily as a last resort, we can always count on him eating Mac and Cheese (he prefers the Spider Man ones). Tonight we put a cut up meatball in front of him and this is the reaction we got:

"Duck"

Somehow Conor's rubber ducky ended up in a niche really high up in the living room. Now, seemingly everyday he points up to it and says "duh."

"Eh"

Conor really cracks us up sometimes. Recently he has been toying with us and pretending to do things he knows he is not supposed to. He will reach out for something that he knows is not a toy and then mock us by making an "eh" sound because that's what Sandy and I do to him. Sorry about the video being so dark but I think it's still worth putting up here.

Conor is 15 Months Old!

Conor went for his 15 month check up this morning. It's interesting how he has begun to recognize the doctor's office. I'm not sure if its the smell of the office or the sound of Dr. Michael's voice, but he just knows that he doesn't want to get too close to any of the nurses or doctors. Unfortunately he needed to get 2 shots, but other than that it was a pretty easy visit. Conor is a very active, but very healthy baby boy!

~Conor's 15 Month Stats~

Height: 31 3/4 inches (60%th percentile)

Weight: 22.30 lbs (25%th percentile)

Head: 18 1/2 cm (45%th percentile)

Happy Grandparents Day!

Conor is blessed to have 3 amazing sets of Grandparents. So, on this Grandparents Day we just wanted to say "Thank you" to Grandma & Grandpa Grant, Pons, & Sano for all the love you have given Baby Conor. We know that soon enough he will understand just how wonderful you all are and appreciate all that you do.
Love,

Warren, Sandy & Baby Conor

We've Come a Long Way Baby...

This morning Baby Conor decided that he would like to feed himself...so we let him. Daddy videotaped it as proof.

Frisco Library

We are very privileged to have a wonderful library just down the street from where we live. The second floor of the library is dedicated to kids...it has little kid size chairs and tables. There is even a whole section of board books...perfect for babies. Today Conor got to explore the library for the first time. He had more fun trying to sit on the little chairs. Once he had a chance to sit in each chair he decided to rearrange all of the books on the shelves. The library was a big hit!

Labor Day Weekend

This past weekend we took Conor to visit his Grandma & Grandpa Sano.  There was something very different about this visit...Conor was walking!  It was a whole new experience for him.  He had so much fun exploring Grandma & Grandpas house.

Due to Conor's curiosity Grandma & Grandpa were forced to lay some ground rules.  They taught Conor that he was not allowed to climb the stairs...only to sit on the bottom step.  We were fascinated at how well he obeyed them.

Mommy and Daddy went to the A&M game on Saturday (yes we know...a major disappointment!).  The highlight of the game was finding this adorable little baseball cap.  Conor thinks he was so cool wearing a hat just like his Daddy.

Conor never comes home from a trip empty handed.  This sweet new race track and cars is compliments of his Grandma & Grandpa Pons.

On the drive home we stopped and got Conor a little kids meal.  He had fun eating in the drivers seat and listening to some of his favorite jams.

Conor, please chew your food...

These days Conor is loving his food so much that he stuffs his mouth and then swallows without chewing. So, in an effort to avoid a choking incident Daddy attempted to teach Conor how to chew. This is how far we've come:
