Christmas Night

Christmas day was a busy one for Conor. After a short nap to recover from Christmas morning, he and his parents packed up and headed over to Grandma Meg and Grandpa Jim's house. Dressed in an adorable turtleneck, he was ready for more Christmas fun. Since we knew what an exhausting task it was for Conor, we decided to let him focus his energy on playing with the actual toys rather than the wrapping paper. What a day! We were so thrilled that Conor had the opportunity to spend time with all of his grandparents as well as many of his aunts and uncles this Christmas. Mommy and Daddy are enjoying all of the new toys just as much as Conor...it's a nice change to hear new songs!

Christmas Morning

Little did Conor know, the fun had just begun. There were still many more presents to come. He and his parents spent Christmas morning at Grandma Veronica and Grandpa Bob's house. Mommy and Daddy had found the perfect Christmas morning outfit for him to wear...he was very cooperative. He woke up smiling and giggling as usual...he had to wake up his Aunt Barb & Uncle Bobby so that the they could all watch as he opened his gifts. Once again, after one or two presents he was tired and overwhelmed. We had to be sure to take lots of breaks. This Christmas thing is exhausting! As you can see he got more exciting new toys and precious outfits. There is nothing like watching a baby experience something new!

Christmas Eve

Conor and his parents spent Christmas Eve with his Grandma Barbara and Grandpa Bill. It was his first present opening experience...he did surprisingly well for his first time. Everyone was impressed at how well he tore into that paper. Of course at first he was more entertained by the paper and ribbons than the actual gifts. We quickly learned that Conor could only handle opening two gifts at a time before he grew tired of the whole thing. So we had to take breaks between gifts so that he could recover. Needless to say he got some VERY cool stuff!!! There is a whole new excitement to Christmas now that there's a baby in the family!

Conor sits up

Tonight Conor sat up all by himself! He had previously been able to sit up for a few seconds but tonight he stayed up for a long time before he got excited and tipped over.

Conor is 6 Months Old!

Conor is now 6 months old! Conor reaches for things and grabs everything in sight. He LOVES the remote control and cell phones (especially Daddy's new iPhone)...we think he just likes shiny things. However, Daddy is not liking this latest obsession. He can almost sit up by himself and he is really trying to crawl...all he can do right now is inch backwards though. Mommy and Daddy have some serious child-proofing to do around the house. Conor has so much fun in his walker, he is starting to get around quite well. We are starting to miss the days of being able to just sit him in the swing or lie him on his play mat. Life is about to get very interesting...

Photoshoot

Today Conor had his first photoshoot. It was quite the experience. We walked in and there were little kids running around all over the place; it was frightening. Luckily for us, we have a little angel. Conor sat in our laps and giggled at the other kids playing while we waited for our turn.

Throughout the session he did really well. He absolutely loved the photographer. Conor couldn't stop laughing at him. It became really difficult to get a good profile shot because Conor kept wanting to look at him and smile. After all the pictures were taken, we went to pick out our favorites. As we were sitting there looking through them all, Conor fell asleep sitting up in my lap. Modeling really wore him out!
