Our Busy Little Bee...

Since turning 1 year old, Conor has been a busy little man. He can point to parts of his body such as: hair, belly, piggies (toes), and nose. His molars are coming in, which has been a painful experience for all of us. He is now going to a new nanny and has new friends...he has already learned so much. And most exciting of all...he's walking! It seems as though many things suddenly clicked when he turned 1. During the past 12 months of talking to him and showing him new things, he was actually paying attention!

He will go over to his CD player in his bedroom and press the play button. When the music starts...he starts to dance. Bath time is a very fun time for Conor. He has a little cup that he'll use to pour water over himself; we think its pretty smart. Conor understands words such as: bottle, bath, dance, ball, Morgan, Newman, "No" (although he pretends not to know what that means). He is very involved in the pugs lives as well. Conor likes to give them their treat when they are good. Both Conor and the pugs have learned that he can throw them food from his high chair...this is bringing them closer every day! Speaking of food, Conor will eat just about anything! He loves all food...especially sweets:)
Last weekend we bought him some "Mega Legos". He loves trying to build stuff with them, it's so amazing how much progress he's made in just a week! Last weekend he went to the pool in style in the new wagon Granda & Grandpa Pons bought him. While there he played with his best girlfriend Ava...they had a great time splashing around together.
This little boy never ceases to amaze us! Every day he does something new or clever that just astounds us!

Conor's New Bag of Tricks

Sometimes we border the line of treating Conor too much like a little puppy rather than a baby but this stuff is so cute we can't help ourselves!

Daddy and Conor's Weekend

Mommy recently had to go out of town for work so Conor and I had the house all to ourselves. Friday night we went to the Superdrome in Frisco to check out some local races. Conor was fascinated! They had some junior races that Conor has to look forward to. By the way, if you were wondering who Conor was rooting for in the Tour, his name is Christian Vandevelde and he rides for the Garmin-Chipotle team. He really wants a jersey but I don't think they make them that small.

Saturday we went to a local park for a morning stroll. The park has a Veteran's Memorial that includes a huge globe that spins around and Conor had the best time trying to make it spin faster. He also splashed around in the water under it.

Conor and Ava

Conor really likes his new wagon. They sure have come along way. His has two seats, cupholders, a door and a storage bin!

Vive le Tour!

The Tour de France is underway and Conor couldn't be more excited. We took him out for a brief stroll around the neighborhood and he really seemed to enjoy it. Unfortunately it was really hot so we thought it best to cut the ride short. For now we will have to stick with watching the professionals on tv, at least until it gets a little cooler.

Conor's New Summer Sunday Tradition

That's right, we mean ice cream! Tonight we took Baby Conor to the local Cold Stone Ice Cream Shop. He enjoyed tasting his daddy's "Birthday Cake Remix" ice cream. Yum Yum!

July 4th at the Lake

This past weekend Baby Conor went to visit his Grandma & Grandpa Sano at Lake McQueeney. He got to participate in the annual Lake McQueeney 4th of July Parade. Then he headed out to Canyon Lake to see his Grandma & Grandpa Pons where he had another fun boating experience. Baby Conor LOVES the water!!!
