The Next Babe Ruth?

He might be the next Babe Ruth with a little more flare. We don't really know where the falling down as soon as he hits the ball came from.

Conor LOVES his drums!

Our Little Lance

Even though Lance had a rough day at Le Tour, Conor was still motivated to get out on his "bike." He has gotten really good! Here is a short little clip of him in action.

Baba & Papa's House - 4th of July!

Every 4th of July there is a parade and fireworks display on Lake McQueeney. We decorated the boat and set out for some 4th of July fun! Conor loved being on the boat and seeing all of the other boats. That night we went back out on the lake for some of the most amazing fireworks displays we've ever seen. Conor was in awe! It was such a lovely weekend full of great food, relaxing and fun!

Ice cream break!

Conor met a cute little girl on the playground :)

None of us knew that Papa had a trumpet.
Conor immediately wanted to try it!
(Video of him playing coming soon!)

A family jam session. Conor loved the piano
and trumpet. He can sit there for hours just
playing music. I think its about time for lessons!

Mima & Grandpa

Our next stop was at Mima & Grandpa's house. Conor had the opportunity to play with his Aunt Lara, Uncle James, Callie, and Scout. He had so much fun! They greeted him with some fun new toys and games including a bubble toy...which was a big hit! Since it was a very rainy couple of days we spent lots of time playing some his great new games. One of Conor's favorite things in the world is golf...he had so much fun playing golf inside with his Grandpa. Conor especially enjoyed following Aunt Lara around. He would go upstairs to her room and ask her lots of questions...it was so cute!

Golf!

Conor wanted to be part of every game.

Conor and Scout had a blast!

Conor's First Movie

We took off last week and headed home to visit all of Conor's grandparents. Our first stop was Canyon Lake where Conor anxiously awaited seeing his Nana & Pops. Our road trips sure have changed. The entire trip Conor asked "Where's Nana's house?" over and over. Also, now that he's potty training he would scream "Me need to go pee-pee!!!". And we had about 30 seconds to find a bathroom. It was crazy! I don't know who was happier to finally arrive at Nana & Pops house...Conor, us, or the pugs!

The next day we took Conor to see Toy Story 3! It was his first time at a theater. I had been trying to explain it to him for a few days so that he would be excited about it. When the day finally came he couldn't wait. He had his popcorn and drink and he was ready to watch the movie. He did really well considering there was 30 minutes of previews and commercials prior to the movie starting! Halfway through the movie he spotted a pretty little girl sitting in our row. He talked his Nana into going and sitting by her for the remainder of the movie. He was in love!

Later that night Nana & Pops were kind enough to watch Conor so that Warren and I could go out for a date night at the Vineyard. It was a lovely evening! When we got back Conor hadn't even missed us. He was too busy learning to play Shuffle Board with his Pops.

Conor was so excited about his popcorn.

Conor & Pops watching TV. Conor was trying
to tell Pops a story.

Conor likes to follow Pops around the house.
His favorite thing is to help Pops water the
plants...sadly I don't have a picture of that.
