Twas the Night Before Christmas

And cookies and milk were left for Santa while Buddy, the elf hung out below the tree with a new motorcycle app that Conor just had to have (my how times have changed since I was Conor's age!)

Resting up

Tonight is the big night for Conor-when he gets to open up a bunch of presents!  Right now he is resting up for it.  By the way, he absolutely loves the quilt Baba made.

Bath Time

You can't tell from these pictures but Jules loves bath time.  She loves relaxing in the warm water.

Sleep

Sleep is really hard to come by these days.  We try to get it whenever we can.  Here is Mommy and Jules taking a rest together.

Conor's Little "Buddy"

Every morning during the Christmas season, Conor has a little elf come visit him named "Buddy."  Usually Buddy is just hanging out, keeping an eye on Conor so he can tell Santa Claus if he is behaving.  But things have changed recently.  Yesterday we found Buddy working on Conor's puzzle and this morning we found him roasting marsh-mellows.

Conor loves being a big brother.  He is always up for holding or feeding her.  It's going to be great for Mommy and Daddy to have such a good little helper!

One morning

I came out from our bedroom one morning and this is how I found Conor.

Introducing...

Juliana's room!  We've been working on this thing off and on for months now and I'm glad to say we are pretty much done (except for some curtains that are on back order).  Now we just need the baby!

Trick or Treating

Conor had a great night of trick or treating with his best friend, Ava.  It's been fun to watch them evolve from us going up to the door with them to them running from house to house ringing doorbells and knocking until someone answers.  They have no fear now.  Conor almost walked into someone's house!

If you have an iPhone, you need to download Instagram.  It is a great app for editing pictures.  Here are a couple of pictures I took with my phone and edited with Instagram.

"Country Conor"

For some reason Conor has started saying a few things with a REALLY heavy Southern accent.  It cracks Sandy and I up-especially if he is talking about monster trucks.  Basically, he has two "paths" to his room from the kitchen.  One is the "monster truck" path and the other is the "people" path.  So in this clip he is talking about the "monster truck" path.  

Pretty soon Conor will be auditioning to be the new "Slim Jim" spokesman.  

Buzz Lightyear

Today Conor's school had a "parade" where all the kids got to go to school in their Halloween costumes.  They then walked up on stage and stood there for all the parents to take pictures.  Unfortunately Conor didn't much feel like going up on stage but he still looked adorable!

Pumpkin Patch

Today we took Conor for a quick trip to the pumpkin patch.  We had grand ideas of going when it was cooler outside and getting some good pictures-unfortunately strep throat and a class project got in the way.  Even though it was quick, Conor still had fun picking out his pumpkin and running through the hay maze.

Natalie's Wedding

We had a wonderful time this past weekend in Sedona, AZ for Aunt Natalie's wedding.  It was great seeing all our family together.  Conor had the best time playing with his cousin Maxwell.  They got to run all over the place during the reception.  Then they pretended to toast each other and kept clinking their glasses saying "Cheers!"  

Organizing

Conor was really proud of the way he organized all our shoes last night.  He put Mommy's and Daddy's together and put the "kids" shoes all together.

Conor rediscovered his guitar today when I bought new strings for it (we already broke one of them!). He is really getting into it now. And yes, I know his fly is open-the zipper kept falling down.

Miss Sophia

Conor got to meet his new cousin, Sophia the other night.  He absolutely adored her.  He really wanted to keep holding her while watching Toy Story 3.  Congratulations to Barb and Jeramy on their new addition!
