Conor Walkin'
In this last picture I imagine him saying in his best Robert De Niro voice, "You talkin' to me?" Now that he has really started walking, we've noticed he's been getting taller. The other day he ran his head right into the table in our kitchen. It seems like just a couple of weeks ago, he would walk right under it.
The Stool
Conor and the National Pastime
Last night we took Conor to see the Frisco Roughriders with Aunt Barb and Jeramy. Conor had a great time at the game sitting in the grassy area where he could run and crawl as he pleased. He enjoyed all the traditional things that go along with a baseball game, hotdogs, singing "Take Me Out to the Ballgame" and watching fireworks. Conor also made a new friend. A little girl named Ali was nice enough to share her Elmo and Barney books with Conor. Conor went over and hung out with her family for a while and they read together.

Conor goes to the Sprayground
We took Conor to a sprayground near our house the other day so that he could cool off from all this summer heat. I think he had more fun watching the other kids run around than actually playing in the water himself. After watching the bigger kids for a while, he finally built up the nerve to try it out himself. His favorite thing was to block the water from spraying up with his hand. He also really enjoyed it when I would hold him and run through the water spraying down.
Next to the sprayground was a typical playground with slides and swings. He got a kick out of riding down the slides while we held him. The slides weren't really made for people my size so we had to kind of nudge our way down a couple of times but he still giggled and thought it was really exciting (we can already tell he's going to be a little daredevil).

How Many People Does it Take to Give Conor a Haircut?
This morning we decided that it was finally time to give Baby Conor a haircut. His hair had grown so much that it was making his poor little head hot. Daddy did the honor of actually cutting his hair while Grandpa Sano combed, Grandma Sano took pictures, and Mommy fed Conor a popsicle to distract him...it took a whole team of us!
Before
After!
He looks so different...so grown up! As his Mommy there was something very bitter sweet about cutting off his beautiful little curls. It was yet another sign that my sweet little baby is quickly becoming a little boy.
