And a very happy Thanksgiving weekend it was! Conor was lucky enough to see all of his grandparents and several of his Aunts and Uncles. We drove down to Lake McQueeney on Thursday morning and spent the day with Grandma & Grandpa Sano. That evening we had a wonderful Thanksgiving dinner. Conor was very overwhelmed by all of the new foods he experienced at dinner. He was amazed by the marshmallows, however, he was not amused when his fingers kept sticking together. For those of you who do not know, Conor is very neat...he does not like for his hands to be dirty (he is his mommy's son!).
Friday he headed to Canyon Lake for a visit with Grandma & Grandpa Pons. While visiting he had Thanksgiving leftovers...one more failed attempt to get him to eat turkey. We ended up fixing him his favorite...Mac n Cheese. He was so happy to see a familiar food! Conor came home with a new Tonka dump truck...he never seems to come home empty handed!
Saturday he went for a visit with his Grandma & Grandpa Grant. They had arranged for a family photo shoot. Conor got all dressed up and did his best to cooperate with the photographer. It never occured to us that since Conor is walking now he would not want to sit still for very long. Most of the shots of Conor are of him running around. Needless to say he had a blast running around the grounds of the McNay! Afterward he was rewarded with another of his favorite meals...tortillas and queso...yum! Hopefully we'll be able to share those photos soon.
Overall it was a fabulous weekend! We are so thankful for all of the wonderful people in our lives! Here are a few pictures from the weekend.
